The Irish National Europass Centre is delighted to host this webinar as part of the AONTAS Adult Learner Festival.

The Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) represents the deep roots of the Irish education and training system and creates the environment in which learners can thrive. It is made up of 10 levels that show how knowledge, skills, and competency can build from early learning through to advanced study. The NFQ supports learners to navigate their learning journey by supporting the development of pathways, enabling progression and facilitating recognition of prior learning.

In this webinar, participants will:

Be introduced briefly to the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)
Understand its relationship to the European Qualifications Framework
Be aware of the Irish Register of Qualifications and the information it publishes
Be introduced to some tools that will support learners such as the certificate supplement, the diploma supplement and Europass tools
Be able to ask questions about the NFQ and how it relates to them.

This webinar is open to all, and is free to attend. It will be of particular interest to learners and those that support learners such as guidance counsellors, teachers and parents. It will also be of interest to employers and other end users of qualifications.
